Use this worksheet to collect the information a buyer needs from one service page before designing it. Copy the prompts, replace them with approved business facts and assign an owner to each unresolved answer. The Markdown download includes this record, evidence checks and an illustrative example you can use as a starting structure.

## Set up the page record

Choose one service and the decision the page should help a visitor make. If several services have substantially different buyers or delivery models, make a separate record for each before deciding whether they belong on the same page.

- **Service name:**
- **Proposed or current page URL:**
- **Intended buyer and their situation:**
- **Decision this page helps them make:**
- **Business owner responsible for the offer:**
- **Content owner and actual reviewer:**
- **Draft date and review status:**
- **Other pages that already cover part of this question:**

Keep a review status that reflects reality. An unanswered prompt is a question to resolve, not evidence that the item has been approved.

## Gather the six core answers

### The offer

- What service does the business actually provide?
- Who is it suited to, and what situation does it address?
- Which essential qualification belongs near the opening promise?
- Draft one clear opening sentence using approved facts.

### Scope and responsibilities

- Which deliverables are included?
- What is optional or quoted separately?
- What must the client supply, decide or approve?
- Which exclusions would materially affect a buyer's decision?
- Which team member can confirm these boundaries?

### Working process

- What information is needed to begin?
- What happens at each meaningful stage?
- Where does the client review or approve work?
- Which dependencies affect timing?
- Which timeline statements have actually been approved?

### Evidence

- Which project demonstrates the relevant service?
- What was the business's actual role in that project?
- Which images, quotations or names have permission for publication?
- What does each piece of evidence support?
- Are any outcomes supported by a genuine measurement record?

### Practical questions

- What does a buyer need to know about pricing or obtaining a proposal?
- What information is needed to estimate cost or timing?
- Which common questions can the page answer accurately now?
- Which answers require a conversation about the buyer's situation?

### The next step

- What should a suitable visitor do next?
- What information should they provide at that stage?
- What will actually happen after they submit or book?
- Which contact route and confirmation message support that promise?
- Which guide or project link could help someone who needs more context first?

## Worked example: an illustrative exhibition service

The following is fictional. It demonstrates how specific a content record can be; it is not approved service copy, a Blitz Studio project or evidence of a measured outcome.

- **Buyer:** A marketing manager preparing a stand for a trade show.
- **Page decision:** Decide whether the company can help develop and coordinate the proposed stand.
- **Opening draft:** Exhibition stand design and production coordination for teams preparing a trade-show presence.
- **Included work to verify:** Concept development, agreed design deliverables and production coordination.
- **Important question:** Is installation supplied by this business or by a separate contractor?
- **Client information needed:** Venue requirements, stand dimensions, event date, products being displayed and the approval contact.
- **Evidence needed:** A permitted project showing the company's actual design/co-ordination role, with image permissions and an accurate description.
- **Next step:** Discuss the event brief so the team can confirm suitability and prepare the appropriate proposal.
- **Unresolved:** Scope, installation responsibility, available dates, pricing basis and the actual reply process must be confirmed by the business.

Notice that the unresolved items remain visible. The example does not become publishable because the layout has space for a timeline, testimonial or starting price.

## Turn the answers into a page outline

Choose headings that make the content easy to locate. A possible outline is service and audience, included work, process, relevant evidence, practical questions and the next step. Adapt the order to the buyer's real decision rather than filling a universal section quota.

For each section, record the heading, approved answer, supporting asset and owner. Keep a note of information that belongs on another page so the same explanation does not need to be repeated in full everywhere.

Read the [service page design guide](https://blitzstudio.xyz/blog/how-to-design-a-service-page) for the reasoning behind this structure, then use the [internal-link guide](https://blitzstudio.xyz/blog/how-to-plan-internal-links) to connect preparation resources and relevant project evidence.

## Review evidence and the rendered page

- Confirm scope, responsibilities, pricing and timing with the actual offer owner.
- Confirm permission and accurate context for client names, images and quotations.
- Remove unsupported awards, credentials, rankings, metrics or promises.
- Check that headings describe their sections and the semantic outline is meaningful.
- Follow the actual links and contact route on the public page.
- Review long titles, realistic copy, phone layouts, zoom and keyboard tasks.
- Check the enquiry confirmation says what the business will actually do.
- Record unresolved issues and assign an owner before marking the page ready.

These prompts support a practical content review. They do not certify accessibility, test a form backend or establish conversion performance. The [website launch checklist](https://blitzstudio.xyz/resources/website-launch-checklist) covers the wider release process.

## Maintain the record

Record who approved the facts, the date of the actual review and where permitted source material is stored. Revisit the page when the offer or delivery process changes. Keep private business information in an appropriate document location rather than adding it to a public draft.

The download is an editable Markdown document. This page does not save your completed worksheet to a server.
